According to the data released by the General Administration of Customs of China in January 2023, the trade volume between China and Russia in 2022 was 190.272 billion dollars, an increase of 29.3% compared to the previous year. China's exports to Russia amounted to 76.123 billion dollars, an increase of 12.8%, while China's imports from Russia reached 114.149 billion dollars, an increase of 43.4%. This shows that the trade between China and Russia has maintained a steady growth in recent years, and the bilateral trade volume has repeatedly reached new highs. From 2012 to 2022, the bilateral trade volume between China and Russia rose from 88.2 billion dollars to over 190 billion dollars. China has been Russia's largest trading partner for 13 consecutive years. Additionally, progress has been made in currency settlement. Russian Ambassador to China Molukov disclosed that approximately half of the bilateral trade volume between China and Russia last year was settled in RMB and rubles, a proportion that has doubled compared to before. Despite the numerous uncertainties and instabilities in the international market, the heat of China-Russia economic and trade cooperation has not diminished, demonstrating strong resilience and great potential. In the first two months of 2023, China-Russia trade continued to maintain a strong growth momentum, with a bilateral trade volume of 33.69 billion dollars, an increase of 25.9% compared to the previous year. Among them, China's exports to Russia and imports from Russia reached 15.04 billion dollars and 18.65 billion dollars respectively, with growth rates of 19.8% and 31.3% respectively. This further proves that the foundation of China-Russia economic and trade cooperation remains solid in multiple fields.

At the same time, the Russian real estate market has also shown an active trend. Due to the strong demand from residents for new residential buildings, the area of houses developed in Russia in the past two years has been equivalent to the total area of the past 10 or even 20 years. According to the data, from January to November 2013, the number of passenger elevators exported from China to Russia exceeded 5411 units, and the number of escalators also reached 491 units. These series of data indicate that the economic and trade cooperation between China and Russia maintains a strong development momentum in multiple fields.
