"Inertial Shock" Causes The Elevator To Shake:

The elevator needs to brake suddenly during high-speed movement, which is a huge "inertia test". According to the law of inertia, any object tends to maintain its original speed and direction when moving, especially when the elevator is about to stop, the inertial force will produce a "forward rush" trend, which is also the fundamental reason for the slight shaking of the elevator.

"Inertial shock" of the elevator when running at high speed: When reaching the floor, it must brake quickly, and the instantaneous inertial force makes the elevator car "slightly shake", so we feel this shake under our feet!

The "Shock-Absorbing Magic Weapon" of The Elevator:

The elevator is equipped with various shock-absorbing buffers, which are designed to absorb the vibration and impact generated by the elevator during operation to ensure that the elevator is more stable.

However, the buffer is not magic. It cannot completely eliminate the vibration, but it reduces the vibration amplitude to a safe range. When the elevator is about to stop, the buffer also needs to slightly adjust the position of the elevator car to achieve the final smooth docking, and this "position adjustment" will cause the elevator to shake slightly.

 

Braking System: The "Brake Hero" of The Elevator:

The brake control of modern elevators is very precise. They use variable frequency control technology, which can control the braking force by gradually slowing down. The brake system is coordinated with the elevator's brake, which allows the elevator to arrive at the station smoothly on the one hand, and can also achieve "fine-tuning" at the last moment on the other hand.
