Installation Precautions for Several Main Components Of Machine Room-Less Elevators
Compared to machine-room elevators, machine-roomless elevators eliminate the need for a machine room, saving building space. However, the limited space available for installing components such as the drive unit, control cabinet, and speed governor can easily lead to installation quality issues. The installation quality of machine-room-less elevator components is crucial to their safe operation, and these components must be properly installed and rigorously inspected.
Common Problems in Installing Several Key Components of Machine Room-less Elevators
1. Common Problems in Installing the Main Drive Unit
(1) Uneven Installation Site. An uneven and sturdy installation site for the main drive unit can cause shaking or vibration during operation.
(2) Poor Installation Environment. Installing the main drive unit in a hot, humid environment can easily cause component failure or corrosion.
(3) Insecure Installation. Loose bolts securing the main drive unit, loose electrical wiring, and other issues can easily cause malfunctions during elevator operation.
2 . Common Problems with Control Cabinet Installation
(1) Improper Installation Location. When installing the control cabinet, the installation location was not selected based on the control cabinet's dimensions.
(2) Failure to consider heat dissipation during installation. The control cabinet lacks a fan, resulting in poor heat dissipation. This can cause high temperatures during elevator operation and can easily cause malfunctions in the electrical components.
(3) Failure to consider dust protection during installation. The control cabinet lacks a dust cover, allowing dust to be drawn in. Dust adheres to the electrical components, affecting the control sensitivity of the control cabinet.
3. Common Problems with Speed Governor Installation
(1) Failure to strictly follow the installation instructions results in the distance between the speed governor rope and the guide rail not meeting the requirements.
(2) The concrete base used for the speed governor installation does not meet the required dimensions. The dimensions of the speed governor base should be 25 to 40 cm larger than the dimensions of the speed governor base.
(3) When installing the speed governor on the speed governor base on the load-bearing beam or foundation steel plate, the anchor bolts are not tightened properly.
