SIGMA Elevator door machine encoder ACVF is an encoder for elevator door machine systems that converts rotational displacement into digital pulse signals, which can be used to control angular displacement or, when combined with a gear or screw, to measure linear displacement.
Working principle of encoder
The encoder usually consists of a photoelectric code disk with a central shaft and annular open and dark lines on the code disk. The photoelectric transmitter and receiver components read these lines to obtain four sets of sinusoidal wave signals, which are combined into A, B, C, D, and each sinusoidal wave has a 90-degree phase difference. The C and D signals are reversely superimposed on the A and B phases to enhance the stable signal. In addition, a Z-phase pulse is output per revolution to represent the zero reference position.
The role of elevator encoder
After the elevator encoder generates an electrical signal, it is processed by a numerical control device (CNC), a programmable logic controller (PLC), a control system, etc. The conversion of angular displacement in the elevator encoder adopts the principle of photoelectric scanning. The reading system is based on the rotation of a radial indexing disk, which is composed of alternating light-transmitting windows and light-shielding windows. The system uses an infrared light source to illuminate vertically, and the light projects the image on the plate onto the surface of the receiver. The receiver is covered with a grating (collimator) with the same window as the optical disc. The receiver senses the light changes caused by the rotation of the optical disc and converts it into corresponding electrical changes. The rotary elevator encoder can also get a speed signal, which is fed back to the inverter to adjust the output data of the inverter.
Fault phenomenon
When the rotary elevator encoder is damaged (no output), the inverter cannot work normally, the running speed will become very slow, and the inverter may be protected and display PG disconnected.
Selection and setting
The connection method between the elevator encoder pg wiring and the parameter vector inverter and the elevator encoder pg must correspond to the model of the elevator encoder pg. The elevator encoder pg model is divided into three types: differential output, open collector output and push-pull output. The signal transmission method must take into account the interface of the inverter pg card, so choose the appropriate pg card model or set it reasonably.
